Deer Profiles and Buck Score (Beta) are live now — built to help you organize, track, and enjoy your season. No extra subscription required.
Whitetail season is here, and we’ve added two new tools to the Command app to help you get more out of every image your cameras pull. Deer Profiles give you a place to organize and track individual animals over time. Buck Score (Beta) is a fun new way to get an estimated score class on the bucks in your gallery. Both are included at no extra cost — no new subscription, no limits. Here’s how they work.
Deer Profiles
Create a Deer Profile to organize every image of a specific animal in one easy-to-view gallery, along with additional information about that deer.
It’s a simple idea with a lot of uses. Track a buck across seasons and watch how he grows and progresses year over year. Keep every photo of a particular deer in one place instead of scrolling through thousands of images to find him. And when you want to share a deer with a buddy or your hunting party, everything you have on him is already gathered in one spot.
There’s no limit to the number of profiles you can create, and it’s available to every Command user at no extra charge.
Buck Score (Beta)
Buck Score is a new feature you’ll find right on the buck images in your gallery. On eligible images, a Buck Score button appears at the bottom of the screen. Tap it to generate an estimated score class for your buck.
We built Buck Score because it’s a neat tool, not because inches are the point. Every hunter’s goals are different, and this is just a fun feature we thought you’d enjoy. Use it however it fits your season.
A few things to know to get the best results:
- This is a beta feature. The system continues to learn and improve through continued use, so expect it to get sharper over time.
- The image needs one clearly visible buck. Images with multiple bucks won’t score.
- It will score any eligible image, but the clearest, closest views of the antlers produce the most accurate estimates.
Think of it as a way to settle the age-old debate around the campfire or the group chat — is he really as big as he looked on camera? Buck Score gives you an estimate to talk it over.
