You asked, we listened. Just in time for hunting season, Spectre 4K and Revolver Pro 2.0 cameras now offer extended video recording options. Hunters can now select 10, 20, or 30-second video clips—giving you more flexibility to capture the action exactly how you want.
Longer video means a more fluid viewing experience. Instead of piecing together multiple short clips when deer are active, you’ll see the whole story unfold in a single capture. And with the rut approaching, it’s the perfect time to keep the camera rolling—especially when bucks may be trailing hot does or moving in groups.
When To Use Each Video Length
10 Seconds
- Keeps file sizes small.
- Ideal for scrapes, feeders, or mineral sites where deer linger but you don’t need extended clips.
20 Seconds
- A balanced option: longer videos without creating large files.
- Great when running short delays (e.g., 5 seconds or less), so you don’t end up with multiple back-to-back clips.
30 Seconds
- Best for high-traffic trails or rut setups where bucks may be trailing does.
- Perfect for predators too, since packs often linger—one long video captures it all instead of fragmented clips.
Note: On-Demand videos will continue to be transmitted in 10 second lengths.
Extended video is available on:
Revolver Pro 2.0 and Spectre 4K

How To Access the New Feature
Update the Command Pro App
- Download the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
Choose Your Video Length
Once updated, you’ll see new settings for 10, 20, and 30-second videos in the app. If you don’t see the settings, confirm you’re using either the Revolver Pro 2.0 or Spectre 4K. Then, go to the next step and update your camera software.
Update Your Camera Software
- In the Command Pro app, navigate to your camera’s settings.
- Tap Update to install the latest software version.
- Pro tip: Trigger an On-Demand photo to speed up the update process. Otherwise, your camera will update automatically during the next sync or two (depending on signal and battery strength). Be patient and give it some time!

Why It Matters
This feature has been one of the most highly requested updates—and for good reason. Whether you’re keeping tabs on velvet bucks, monitoring scrapes, or watching the chaos of the rut unfold, longer video clips mean better intel and fewer missed moments.
We can’t wait to see what you capture this season with extended video on your Spectre 4K or Revolver Pro 2.0.
